We were asked to remove a Poplar at Asda Leigh, due to it growing through the BT telephone lines, becoming a health and safety hazard.
Following recent high winds, concerns had been raised about the safety of pedestrians and traffic should the tree snap the cables, endangering life.
The job was done on a Sunday morning to reduce congestion in the car park.
Trees, especially well established and old specimens, can cause extensive damage to property and their surrounding habitat, or worse, if not maintained on a regular basis.
If you’re concerned about a tree on your own property, or adjoining land, and not sure what to do, especially following storms or high winds, when damage may have occurred, get in touch.
